We recently did a family trip at the end of the Run Off Season to the Daly River Region.
The weather was quite windy being June, so we hugged into Dockerty’s creek for most of the day and what a good day it became. We caught 20 odd Barramundi whilst in there, from rat size to 2 big 85cm’s. It was surprising as we thought the Barra might have gone quiet due to the late time in the season and the weather. Goes to show you never know!
We moved Brute Force over to Cape Ford and spent another couple of days on the reef fish, did really well there too! Landing all types of snapper, mackerals, blue bones, just to mention a few
With Brute Force anchored tightly close to the shore out of the wind, we enjoyed some really relaxing days. The scenery is beautiful. Crystal creek was awesome, beautiful clear water and serene beaches.Share this with others
